Reflection 6 - Theory and Model of Technology and Innovation

 Hello, everyone. Welcome back to my blog!

Theory and Model of Technology and Innovation is one of the important topics that need to be learned so I can apply them to my lesson in the future. However, this topic is a bit difficult for me as there are so many types of models. Then, Dr. Azli explained more about every model and give some examples. For better understanding, we need to choose one model and make a slide presentation. At the end of the class, I can list the types of models that can be applied in education.

• Welliver Instructional Transformation Model 

• ACOT Model 

• Technology Acceptance Model 

• SAMR Model 

• Dale Cone of Experience 

 • Trajectory Model 

• Realism Theory 

• Visual Design for Teaching and Learning

But for today I wanna share more about SAMR Model. This model was developed by Dr.Ruben Puentedura and consists of Substitution Augmentation Modification Redefinition. This model is divided into two parts which are transformation and enhancement. SAMR uses hierarchy to explain the cognitive level gained by using technology as resos (BBM) in lessons.

Reflection 10 - Our Last Class With Dr.Azli

   Hello, everyone! Today is the last class for the technology subject this semester.  As planned, the selected group presented about TPACK which we had discussed in the group in the last class session. TPACK consists of three basic knowledge components namely technology, pedagogy, and content which is knowledge and understanding based on content teaching with appropriate pedagogical and technological methods. TPACK is an optimization technique for a whole unit that can produce an effective, efficient, and interesting learning process.  Dr. Azli also shared the feedback from the students about the issues faced throughout the 1st semester. This survey is good for knowing the problems faced by students and allows the university to improve the implementation of teaching and learning. This topic is so interesting as we live in a very modern and sophisticated era.
