Reflection 10 - Our Last Class With Dr.Azli

Image
Hello, everyone! Today is the last class for the technology subject this semester.  As planned, the selected group presented about TPACK which we had discussed in the group in the last class session. TPACK consists of three basic knowledge components namely technology, pedagogy, and content which is knowledge and understanding based on content teaching with appropriate pedagogical and technological methods. TPACK is an optimization technique for a whole unit that can produce an effective, efficient, and interesting learning process.  Dr. Azli also shared the feedback from the students about the issues faced throughout the 1st semester. This survey is good for knowing the problems faced by students and allows the university to improve the implementation of teaching and learning. At the end of this semester, I know about the concepts and terminologies related to technology and innovation. I also can illustrate the theories and some integration models which can ...

Reflection 9 - Gardner's Multiple Intelligences

Image
Hello, everyone! Today, I want to share about Gardner's Multiple Intelligences.  This topic going to be my last reflection on this course learning. There are 9 types of multiple intelligences. All the types are important because we can learn to accept the similarities and differences of each individual. We cannot compare students because the level of acceptance of the person is different. As a teacher, we need to use a different approach to guide the student by knowing their weaknesses, factors, and more. Students will be more motivated to deepen and understand the learning if they are comfortable with the approach used by the teacher. Every student is unique, so teachers need to be creative, innovative, and more flexible in the approach used in teaching and learning (PdP) through Gardner's Multiple Intelligences. What is Gardner's Multiple Intelligences? In order to capture the full range of abilities and talents that people possess, Gardner theorizes that people do not ha...

Reflection 6 - Theory and Model of Technology and Innovation

Image
Hello, everyone. Welcome back to my blog! Theory and Model of Technology and Innovation is one of the important topics that need to be learned so I can apply them to my lesson in the future. However, this topic is a bit difficult for me as there are so many types of models. Then, Dr. Azli explained more about every model and give some examples. For better understanding, we need to choose one model and make a slide presentation. At the end of the class, I can list the types of models that can be applied in education. • Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning  • Welliver Instructional Transformation Model  • ACOT Model  • Technology Acceptance Model  • SAMR Model  • Dale Cone of Experience   • Trajectory Model  • Realism Theory  • Visual Design for Teaching and Learning But for today I wanna share more about SAMR Model. This model was developed by Dr.Ruben Puentedura and consists of Substitution Augmentation Modification Redefin...
